RECIPES MODULEfor the dishes your family actually makes
The family cookbook that does the maths.
Save grandma’s banana bread, the blog curry and the soup off the back of an envelope. Then scale any of them to the people at the table, the tin in your cupboard, or the bananas going brown.

01 · THE CALCULATOR
One recipe. Any amount.
Zero maths at the counter.
Pick how you want to scale and every ingredient follows. Grams turn into kilos, spoons round to the nearest quarter, eggs to the nearest half, and “to taste” stays to taste.

Units convert themselves
1,250 ml becomes 1.25 l, 1,200 g becomes 1.2 kg. Say you have 0.4 kg of flour and it knows that’s 400 g.
Rounded like a cook would
Spoons to the nearest quarter, eggs to the nearest half, grams to the gram. Nobody measures 3.2 eggs.
Some things never scale
Mark the vanilla pod or the one bay leaf as fixed, and it stays put whatever you make.

02 · ASK, DON’T CALCULATE
“I have 6 bananas
going brown.”
Say it the way you’d say it in the kitchen. Your assistant scales the recipe with the same calculator the app uses, then puts what’s missing on the shopping list at the new amounts. Untick what’s already in the cupboard.
03 · THE REST OF THE COOKBOOK
Everything the recipe tin did.
Plus search.
